Trip Insurance. What is it? Do I need it?
Your ski vacation is a significant investment. Like many things in life, sometimes things can, and do, go wrong. To reduce the financial risks asociatated with vacation travel, there are companies that offer "Trip Insurance". This type of insurance covers unanticipated expenses related to trip cancellations, delays, accidents requiring medical care, etc... The coverage usually costs about 5 or 6% of the total trip.
The Red Eye Ski and Snowboard Club does not sell trip insurance as part of their group trips, but we urge each participant to consider the value of insurance coverage as it pertains to each trip and the unique risks associated with that trip.
The Red Eye's return to a frequent favorite in 2024, and just like last time, it's another "hobo" style trip. We provide the heavily discounted condominium lodging, multi-day group lift tickets, and ground transfers between the Kalispell airport and the Whitefish Mountain Resort complex. You plan your own preferred transportation. Car pool, fly, or take the train. It's entirely up to you. Experienced trip leaders Dave & Pam White can answer all your questions at trips@redeyeskiclub.org
A link to the trip sign-up form will be available here shortly >>>

We will be planning day trips to resorts like Granite Peak and Trollhaugen in WI, Spirit Mountain in MN that we can carpool on day trips. Weekend trips to Lutsen and Big Powerhorn in the UP are also trips we did last year using the Indypass.
Many members have purchased or are planning to purchase the "Indypass" - This pass gets you two days lift passes at many resorts in the midwest -plus many more through the US. Check their website here www.indyskipass.com
